Hello. My name is Shawn. I like to think of myself as a technological cross-breed: a programmer and an artist, a gaming geek and a hipster. Many web projects suffer from miscommunication amongst project managers, programmers and designers. With extensive experience in both graphic design and computer programming, I bring unity and direction to web projects to ensure they are completed efficiently in every step of the process.

I have always taken a holistic approach to learning. I don't skimp on details and leave no gaps in knowledge. Fixing a code bug is only temporary if you don't know what caused it (and why). It's this approach to programming that has given me a very well rounded education. As for the design realm, far too many websites are unnecessarily difficult to navigate and use; I prefer simple and obvious user-friendly design and navigation.

In all my work, I aim to become a Linchpin. A Linchpin, a term coined by American entrepreneur, author, and public speaker Seth Godin, is an artist that does emotional work. It means doing work that I put my heart and soul into, work that matters, and work that I am eager to show off. I aim to achieve the goals of my clients with speed and, most importantly, passion.
